Overview

Primarily ‘who we are’ is defined by ‘whose we are’.  That might sound cute, but names, faces and credentials are not important in a movement of people grounded in a lifestyle of seeking to serve Jesus as the church. In fact, the purpose and outcome is even bigger than that.  Jesus spoke a great deal about His Kingdom, and he taught us to pray that it would come on earth as it stands in heaven.  So to begin with, ‘who we are’ is defined by who Jesus is and that leads us to be His kingdom agents to bring the reality of His kingdom to all areas of life.  So Starfishoz is simply people who know each other and have a desire to come together for this purpose.  We know that Christ has a body which is us and that the best we can do is to be faithful with ‘those He has given us’ (John 17) This means that we are kingdom people, who know kingdom people, and disciple others to disciple others to see the rule and reign of Jesus established here on earth. This also includes a desire to see a re-establishment of an apostolic and prophetic foundation so Jesus can build his Church the way He wants to. (1 Corinth 12:28 Matt 16:18)  This is where Peter and Craig are primarily investing their time and resources so that there is a basis on which those connected with starfishoz can be built by Christ as His church…the people!
