We are recognising that there is an emerging chorus of people who are sensing the same things about the future of the church.  There are many different networks of churches in the home, however if you would like to connect with StarfishOz simply post a comment which indicates your intent.  We are not interested in empire building, or badges of honour, but in people who want  to simply and radically join a revolution of the Way.

Journeying Together

 We are discovering an increasing number of people have questions about what a de-centralised, non-institutional expression of church would look like. The situation is getting serious in Australia. A colleague wrote the following in a publication:  “Recent research has revealed that about 3000 people per day are leaving the Christian
faith. Not leaving the Lutheran Church for the Baptist or the Presbyterian Church for the Assemblies of God. They leave the Christian faith for Islam, Buddhism, the occult,  atheism, or…Think about that… Between breakfast Monday & tea time Wednesday, the equivalent of the city of Tumut walks away from life in Christ toward eternal death. This isn’t those who have never heard the gospel. This is people who have experienced Jesus through the church & said, “No more of that for me.” Also in those surveys, it was discovered that about 83% of the general population are never engaged in worship or a vital relationship with Jesus. Many who claim the faith never live it.”
Either Peter or Craig are happy to listen to you tell your story (long black with a dash of milk!), share at conferences or events, preach, give you direction where we can, and help connect you with others. Starfish Australia

Starfish Australia is a partner with both a global and local vision in the context of relationships. This vision that continues to grow in momentum is really quite simple. Jesus Christ comes as both Saviour and King, with an agenda of love to radically address the deepest needs of humanity. He comes with a real kingdom that is capturing countless individuals and communities with it’s love and upside down values. Starfish Australia is a touchstone for all those who are and will be caught up into this movement in loving obedience to King Jesus and will subsequently find themselves with a cosmic purpose to lay their hand to. In this vision, a tide of people will join together to bring an out-of-this world reality to every aspect of society; family, education, politics, spirituality, and art all purposed in and through divine love.

God is doing something even in Australia that will literally transcend your capacity to comprehend it. His invitation to you is, ‘do you want to join me in this?’

This site is simply to communicate a deeper sense of what God is in fact doing, which enables you to understand more and participate in it if you so choose.
